So, the Summer Term, my 1st Summer Term of my college experience, has ended today. I MADE IT~~! W007!!

Tomorrow, I get my laptop~~! ^___________^ This makes me EXTREMELY happy, as you might be able to tell.

If I get my laptop early enough, I'm hanging out with Erica and her friends before she goes to work.

I will have my YasumiCon '08 con report/review ready by the end of the weekend. I might even have Faroth's Birthday picture done by then too. I'm trying to finish him and Abel before Aug. 15th, the next character birthday.

I'll be on a lot more now and I'll be trying to catch up to everyone's LJs. I'm reading Breaking Dawn so I'm trying hard to avoid LJ... >_> (DON'T SPOIL ME~~!!!! >_<)

I should be hitting the P.O. on the way back from getting the new chair for my grandma in the morning, so almost everyone who is waiting for stuff from me should have their stuff soon. Mura, I'm going to wait and send you something extra with what I promised you, but I won't have the extra thing for a few days, so I'll send it then.

I'm going to be auctioning off some Kanesaki stuff, I think, to help pay for this money crunch, so my mother doesn't have to freak out about not having enough money for my grandmother's care and the rent. I don't want to part with it, but... so it goes. I'm not check-bouncing desperate, but I really don't like cutting things so close. If I got paid weekly instead of bi-weekly it'd be fine, but... every 2-weeks sucks when every single bill I have to pay is due in the same pay period.

Pez, as soon as I get DL5, it's yours. I'll let you know as soon as I get it.

My grandmother voluntarily helped with laundry and cooking today. Even though her health is poor, her mental state is getting better. Thank God for that.

My grandmother sleeps in an electric reclining lift chair. She cannot sleep in a bed, she has to be reclined and sitting up. The chair that she brought with her when she moved is about 6-7 months old. It broke during moving, and the chair has a warranty on it.

So, my mother called the place that sold her the chair. They have nobody to actually fix the chair. They had to contact the people who do servicing in our area, to get someone out to fix the chair.

That was three weeks ago. My grandmother has been getting steadily more ill, because her chair does not recline properly. Now, the motor has burned out since the lift was broken and unrepaired, and she cannot move in the chair at all. Her legs hang down, and she cannot recline. This has caused massive edema in her legs and body, and her breath is rattling in her chest from fluid buildup.

Nobody really cares. My mother kept calling the furniture dealer asking them to find SOMEBODY to fix the chair. They keep giving her numbers of places that have not serviced their chairs for years.

So, I went online and looked up the company directly. We called them. They gave us numbers of more people that have not serviced their chairs for years. Nobody in our area does, period. No wonder. Their chairs are pieces of shit.

So, we have a $1,000 chair less than a year old with a lifetime warranty that no one will fix.

We have to buy a new chair, and it's going to run about 800$. At least the place we found will take half down and the rest over a six-month period, but it's going to crunch the bills. Thank goodness that I have a little monetary leeway. Unfortunately, it's going to make that leeway completely gone. I am going to have to pay the majority of the rent, this month. I had budgeted out $200-300 for rent. I'm going to have to pay $600. Now, instead of paying half the bills, I am paying 2/3 of the bills.

Time to rework my budget. At least Nori's been paying me back and Pez will be taking my copy of DL5 off my hands so that'll be a big help.

So, my mom spent the morning on the phone, crying in frustration and desperation. She wanted to get the chair today and there isn't enough time for her to get to work. So, we'll do it first thing in the morning.

Until then, we have my grandmother's legs propped up on boxes and blankets and pillows. This means that I need to go in the living room and move everything every time she needs to get up to use the bathroom, which is pretty well close to hourly. Then I need to fix her back up. And do it again an hour later.

Thank God I don't have to work today. I really do not know what I would do.

Just some proof that the most ridiculously insane things happen to me :)

MY ROOM AS DRAWN BY A FOUR YEAR OLD. Or me. Whatever. This description of craziness requires illustrated aid.

So, this is a picture of my room. Sort of.

1. Me, in my bed.
2. A weird door. (There is another door on the other side of this not marked with a number. The un-numbered door leads into the living room / the rest of the house.)

The weird door requires some explanation. When you open it, it's about a half-size door. It's very short. You have to duck to walk through. If you open it, you find yourself right at the top of a staircase. It's something out of a crazy dream sequence. This staircase goes to the basement.

Now, if you decline to take the stairs down, right when you open this door, across from you is another door. You would turn just a bit to your right to go down the stairs, or continue on straight ahead through a second door. This door leads to the front door of the entire house. My money is on the fact that this was once an entire single house. They separated it into top/bottom floors. However, legally, you must have two exits on each floor. So, they made this weird two-door hallway exit to the front door, because the primary exit for the first floor is the back door.

Anyway. This weird door leading to the stairs or front, also has a huge ass hole cut in the bottom left corner of it. I'm assuming this was for pets or something, to get down to maybe a litter box in the basement. Either way, there is a huge hole. This is illustrated by the black square in the corer of the door.

So, last night I am exhausted and fall asleep with my cellphone in my hand after setting my alarm.

I wake up, having to use the bathroom. I flip the covers up to get out of bed.

BOOMSCREEEEEEEEEEEEESCRITCHTHUNK.

My cellphone flew across the room, skittered across the floor AND THROUGH THE HOLE IN THE DOOR DOWN INTO THE BASEMENT.

I had to wake up (with a headache because I forgot to wear my CPAP to bed, bad me, and am now oxygen deprived and headachey from not breathing properly) and am blind from turning the light on in a pitch black room, crawling around in the doorway, which I had to unlock so that I could get out into the half-stairwell to FIND MY STUPID FUCKING PHONE.

Remember my post last night about catching up on sleep?

Apparently my body is so accustomed to going without sleep at this point that I cannot sleep during the day in an increment of time any longer than 30 minutes. The last day I slept any kind of actual time was on my last day off, a week ago, and only because I induced sleep with a handful of Tylenol PM. Between now and then, I have not slept for more than about a half-hour at a time, I think. Maybe an hour or two, tops.

Anyway, today I came home and went to bed, with the full intention of staying in bed until noon. I fell asleep around 8:30-ish. By 9AM, I was awake and had been tossing around for ten minutes trying to get back to sleep.

Dear Body,

I understand that you are working overdrive just to acclimate yourself to these changes, and really you are doing an awesome job. However... on a day when I can actually sleep like a normal human being... TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT. D: Don't get 20 minutes of sleep and act like you're ready for the rest of the day!

I feel completely alert and awake, not at all tired. I cannot even blame caffeine, I had an energy drink but it was gone by my lunchtime at work, which was like... midnight. My body is just like, 'OMG 20 MINUTES OF SLEEP WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.'

Either that or I've finally become superhuman!

hey guys, as many of you know there is a limit to how many tags a journal can have. this of course poses a problem for boys_paper since there are so many boys to scan. therefore PLEASE keep this in mind when making tags.

o1. the biggest thing i see is redundancy and overlap. for example, if i made a post of tackey and tsubasa; there is NO NEED for a takki, tsubasa, and THEN a tackey&tsubasa tag! same thing goes for KAT-TUN there is no need to name all the members in KAT-TUN for just one post. this also applies to D-Boys, Hey!Say!JUMP and other groups large groups. If it's a scan of a few D-Boys then having a separate tag is fine. But if it's more than a few D-Boys together in one post then just put it as a D-Boys tag.

o2. if there is a missing tag. PLEASE FEEL FREE to let us know here! i don't know every hot guy out there, therefore i will not be able to add tags of people i don't know. help us out and let us know if you're scanning someone that doesn't have a tag.

o3. i do go back to posts and condense tags but currently out of the 4 mods in this community i am the only one active. so PLEASE do me a favor and condense your tags! CONVERSATION IS KEY not just for the environment. i will work on making a BETTER system for the tags as soon as i finish with my real life issues. BUT for the moment please try to be careful with the tags.

o4. i would like to THANK ALL THE MEMBERS especially all the ones who are generous enough to share with this community. i really do appreciate everyone's work and i'm not trying to single anyone out. this is just a general trend that i see quite often. please continue to share great scans with the community.

LET ME EXPLAIN.

For Kanesaki's birthday event, there were some goods released in the form of the little plastic 'necklaces' that were in the 'movie'. Me, being the raging retard I am, picked up a set just because I could. I opened them up to look at them, and they're novel, but cute (SEE ABOVE PICTURE).

They're two necklaces, one with a little blue plastic charm and one with a red. Me, in my infinite wisdom, decided I was going to put both charms on one thread.

WELL. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN.

After I pulled the red one off, I noticed the holes were smaller than the width of the string that they were on. How this works, I do not know. I spent half an hour trying to put the damn charm back on the string. Finally I had to dig an earring out of my drawer and use the earring post to shove the piece of string/whatever back through the tiny-ass hole (not tiny ass hole, clarification here).

So I decided hay maybe I'll wear one just for the fuck of it. What good is having them if they just sit in the little pouch. I tied and knotted the strings so the damn things wouldn't fall off and force me to spend another half-hour putting them back on. Tried to slip it on over my head.

THE STRING CHAINS ARE TOO SMALL TO FIT OVER MY STUPID FAT WHITE EUROPEAN HEAD.

:| EPIC FAIL. So, the necklaces are banished back to the pouch. Which is candy pink.

In other news I got the L/OVE DVD to rip, so I'll be sharing that later. I am so tired right now. Probably from lugging around my stupid fat head all day and night.

Pick on my ugly hands and die :( They've been in alcohol scrub all night. You can pick on my fat head all you want.

My husband and I got married a little over a month ago.  Most of our family members supported us.  My dad was the only one who didn't show up.  Just a few pics so you can celebrate with us :)

My only beef is that... everything would have fit with room to spare in a flatrate 9$ box. Maybe the larger 12$ one if they absolutely had to shove packing material in there.

Instead, they sent it in one of their own boxes, and made me pay 40$ shipping. Granted, they charged me exact shipping cost, but they should be willing to use flatrate boxes. They refuse to. :|

However, I will not let that dampen my glee.

I will be back with goodies to scan/upload after I've raped the package.

EDIT: As expected, they messed up my shipment. One of the items is missing. A Kanesaki birthday event pamphlet that I paid about 65$ for. I told them they never marked it as received before, and they said, "Oh, we probably have it and didn't update your account." No. It's not there. I had other items from the same seller. Those are there. My pamphlet is not. Thank GOD I bought two of them, so I actually got one, but they better get asses in gear for the missing one. If I didn't have one here, I would be more upset.

EDIT2: I am very happy with the stuff that isn't missing. :DDDDDD

I'm trying to write a rough draft so I have to do this quickly.

I went to YasumiCon on Saturday and Sunday. It was awesome.
